Built on seven acres bordering the cities of Irvine and Newport Beach, the Arnold and
Mabel Beckman Center provides a private, distraction-free environment for your meeting
or event. The retreat-like atmosphere of the 48,000 square foot facility is highly conducive
to learning and productivity. Just minutes from the John Wayne Orange County Airport and outstanding hotels, restaurants, beaches, and attractions, the Beckman Center
is a first class conference center.

Designed by the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the Beckman Center opened in 1988. The building is a long, low structure that houses an auditorium, conference and meeting rooms, a full-service restaurant kitchen, dining rooms and terraces, private guest offices, and a gallery highlighting the inventions and scientific accomplishments of Dr. Arnold O. Beckman.

The Beckman Center is owned and operated by the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering, private, non-profit organizations which advise the federal government on questions of science, technology, and health policy.
